Former Laker Samaki Walker Arrested For Drug Possession

It’s a bad week for ex-NBA players and weed. Former Spurs, Lakers (he made his way around the league, ok!) Samaki Walker was arrested for various drug charges stemming from a routine traffic stop in Arizona.

Check the details:

Samaki Walker tried to eat marijuana as a Department of Public Safety officer approached his 2002 Mercedes-Benz following a routine traffic stop. Officials said about 10 grams of marijuana was seized from the vehicle along with some prescription drugs and eight bottles of liquid steroids.

**blank stare** He tried to EAT the weed?? Wow. Samaki claimed he takes the steroids to help him with his basketball skills (he still plays overseas and says that the steroids are legal in Syria) I really don’t have anything else to add.
