Flashback Friday brings us a moment of past love. TV analyst and former NFL player Amhad Rashad proposing to Claire Huxtable on Thanksgiving on national tv. Super sweet

Rashad popped the question during the pregame of the “NFL ’85” broadcast of the New York Jets vs Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28, 1985. While reporting from the field at the Silverdome, he asked Bob Costas, who was in studio, to have someone find Phylicia Ayers-Allen, who was at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and relay the message to her.
