An unanticipated NFL trade can certainly be a source of stress for the average jock. In a trade between the Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles for RB Jerome Harrison, it was life saving.
The RB was sent to be traded to the Eagles for Ronnie Brown. As is customary, teams give the players a full physical. During Jerome’s physical, a brain tumor was discovered.
The good news is that the tumor was discovered and he’s now receiving treatment. You never know where you’ll find your blessings.
