Thursday night’s match up between the Chicago Bulls and Oklahoma City Thunder on TNT was also a welcome back party for sideline reporter Craig Sager.
Sager has been away from the game for the last 11 months as he battled Leukemia. TNT aired a video featuring players, coaches and team owners welcoming Sager back to action.
Among those included; Sagers’ fashion spirit animal, Russell Westbrook, San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich, DWade and Mavericks’ owner, Mark Cuban.
The crowd gave Sager a standing ovation before the game and the United Center played a tribute to him also.
Benny the Bull gifted Sager with a brand new suit jacket – in red and black Bulls colors naturally.
