Chargers LB Shaun Phillips joins Katsuya San Diego’s ownership group

Chargers Shaun Phillips is getting into the restaurant business. The linebacker/DJ has partnered up with the SBE restaurant group to bring Katsuya to the San Diego area.

“Sam, Matt and the sbe team have created some of my favorite nightlife and dining experiences,” said Phillips.  “I’ve been a regular at Katsuya for years and I wanted to be a part of bringing Katsuya to life in San Diego.”

Shaun and Reggie Bush recently started a DJ crew and their first event was held at an SBE nightlife property. I assume that Shaun will also be bringing those talents to the new restaurant as well. Known for it’s unique sushi rolls, the Katsuya San Diego will be located in the Andaz hotel and is slated to open March 15th.
