In more Jocks jumping the broom news, Charlotte Bobcats forward Tyrus Thomas married Jamie Collins recently. Jaime, received gifts from Tyrus every hour leading up to the vows. The ceremony was held at Louisiana’s Old State Capitol in Baton Rouge.
The bride wore Vera Wang’s Diana wedding dress, a strapless gown with a draped wrap bodice, swirling frothy draped skirt and crystal belt. Her “something blue” were custom beaded Christian Louboutin heels with blue crystals (the same ones Mrs. Bosh donned for her big day)
The groom wore a two-button pique stitch suit by Brown and Brown with two-tone alligator shoes with a wing tip. His long time friends Garrett Temple and Glen “Big Baby” Davis were his best men.
The ceremony was held at the Riverview Ballroom, one theme throughout the wedding was the African symbol for perseverance, a tattoo which Tyrus and Jaime have on their wrists.
The first dance was to Justin Timberlake’s “Until the end of time” which features Beyonce. (I LOVE THIS SONG, awww so sweet)
When did having a groom’s cake become the thing to do? So let’s see, Tyrus likes his Beats by Dre, iPad, Hennessy, Nike and New York… cool
