Arrest warrant issued for Darren Sharper in New Orleans


More trouble for former NFL star Darren Sharper. An arrest warrant has been issued  by a New Orleans judge for the alleged rape of 2 women.

Per New Orleans Sex Crimes detectives, there’s strong evidence Sharper and an acquaintance raped 2 women on Sept. 23 in an apartment. If convicted, Sharper is looking at life in prison with no possibility of parole. This is in addition to the charges pending in Los Angeles and the case that is being investigated in Miami.

Sharper turned himself in Thursday night in Los Angeles:

Sharper, 38, turned himself in around 7:15 p.m. He’s being held at the Men’s Central Jail with no bail. It is unclear when he will head back to New Orleans to face the charges.
