Jordan and Pippen were to the Bulls as Batman and Robin are to superheros. Scottie Pippen was by MJ’s side for all 6 of those Bull’s championships in the 90’s. One of the top 50 players in NBA history, Gold Medal Olympian and a member of the Basketball Hall of Fame, Pippen was honored Thursday night at half time of the Bulls-Celtics game with a statue that will join Michael Jordan’s outside the United Center.
The Bulls performed their due diligence by beating the Boston Celtics, 97-81 with the Bulls star point guard and MVP candidate, Derrick Rose once again displaying why he is an elite player in the NBA.
