Miami Heat Help Former Player Tim Hardaway Out Of Tax Trouble

Tim Hardway’s post NBA career hasn’t exactly been littered with “wins”. From his terrible attempt at broadcasting to his comments about hating gay people in 2007 in reference to John Amaechi coming out, Tim has repeatedly botched the lob that life has handed to him.

His latest faux pas, owing the IRS $120,000 which resulted in a lien being placed against his property including his 7,542-square-foot mansion in Miami. 3 months after the lien was filed, Tim sold the mansion to Miami Heat Limited Partnership, which owns the Miami Heat.

According to public records, the Heat paid $1.985 million Today, the Heat is trying to sell the five-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bath estate, which comes with a pool and private basketball court decorated with a Miami Heat logo, for $2.5 million. Meanwhile, four months after the sale, Hardaway is still living in the mansion.

Oh yeah, Tim made $46.6 million over his 13 seasons in the NBA and one of the nastiest crossovers ever!
