LeBron James continues to expand his brand. LeBron and his marketing company LRMR have struck a deal with Fenway Sports Group that will give King James a minority stake in the soccer club Liverpool FC. In addition to the team deal, FSG, which also owns the Boston Red Sox, is partnering with LRMR to become the exclusive world-wide representative for The King.
Liverpool is the world’s eighth-biggest soccer team by revenue, with $320 million in revenue during the 2009-10 season.
