I really appreciate some of the interviews and original programming on ESPN as of late. Here’s a clip from OTL featuring Antoine Walker on his financial issues:
They touch on a few key issues, one of them being the “ENTOURAGE”. Financial literacy is KEY for a successful life no matter who you are. I know both the NBA & NFL offer courses and advice, it’s the athletes’ responsibility to take advantage not only of the monetary benefits of the leagues but the programs that are set up to help them WIN once their on court/field career has ended.
