Mo’ne Davis throws out pitch at Game 4 of World Series [Video]

Little league sensation, Mo’ne Davis was part of MLB’s pregame celebration of the 75th anniversary of Little League baseball. The ceremony also featured the 2014 U.S. Little League World Series champion Jackie Robinson West from Chicago. Davis threw out the ceremonial first pitch before Game 4 featuring the San Francisco Giants and Kansas City Royals.

Davis was the first female pitcher to throw a shutout in the Little League World Series, and was the first Little League player to be featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated while still in Little League. Her jersey is featured at the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown.

Davis took over the hearts of America, in addition to being featured on S.I., Davis also recently secured a commercial for Chevy that recapped her amazing summer.

The spot, which was directed by Spike Lee, ended with the words “Chevrolet celebrates Mo’ne Davis and those who remind us that anything is possible.”

Appearing in a commercial that aired during Game 1 of the World Series will not compromise the amateur status of Mo’ne Davis should she choose to play college sports.

“Mo’ne Davis may be paid for appearing in the Chevy commercial without impacting her NCAA eligibility,” NCAA spokeswoman Emily James said in a statement.

Davis is planning on playing basketball in college, not baseball.

San Francisco Giants win over Kansas City Royals 11-4.
