Congratulations to Angels first baseman Albert Pujols. The 34 year-old became the 26th member of the 500 Homer Run club on Tuesday night. Pujols  hit his 499th and 500th career home runs during a 7-2 victory over the Washington Nationals.

Pujols won a batting title in 2003, three National League Most Valuable Player Awards, and two World Series titles while playing with the St. Louis Cardinals. He is also the first player in MLB history to hit 30 home runs in each of his first 12 seasons, and the second to reach 100 RBIs in his first 10.

Pujols signed a 10-year deal worth $240 million with the Angels in 2011.

The fan that caught the ball was a member of the AirForce from Pomona, Ca. And said he’ll return the ball to Pujols with no expectations of being paid for the ball.
