Beast Back: Matt Kemp Hits 2 Home Runs On Giants [Video]

It’s been a long road back from injury for Dodgers star Matt Kemp.  During Sunday’s 6-2 win over the San Francisco Giants, Kemp hit two home runs.

 

 

Following the game, Matt responded to the question “Is the Beast back?”

“Is the Beast back? We’ve got a long road ahead of us,” said Kemp following his first multi-homer game since 2012. “I hope the Beast is back. I feel good. I’m just getting my legs under me, taking it game by game.

“It always feels good to hit home runs here, because of when you hear the crowd. It has been a while, so it did feel good.”

If the “Beast” does come back, it’ll be without “Beastmode.” Seattle Seahawk running back Marshawn Lynch owns the trademark to that. He wouldn’t give Kemp permission to license it.
