What do you do the day after you’re indicted on assault charges to your fianceé, you marry her of course. Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice married Janay Palmer in a small ceremony on Friday.
The couple made headlines in February after they were arrested for assaulting each other in an Atlantic City casino. Charges against Janay were dropped but Rice was charged with third degree aggravated assault. Surveillance video surfaced of him dragging Janay’s body out of an elevator while she was passed out, allegedly from a blow he gave her.
If you’re thinking the wedding was rushed so Janay wouldn’t be able to testify against him, you’d be wrong.
But I bet there was certainly an image rehab in mind…
