Nick Young wants sexual assault civil suit dismissed because the DNA isn’t a match

Lakers Nick Young was accused of sexual assault last May stemming from an incident that allegedly took place while Young was playing for the Clippers. At the time, released details of the incident sounded a bit sketchy. Now comes word that Nick has asked the judge to dismiss the case. Young’s DNA doesn’t match the DNA collected from the accuser.

In Young’s legal response to his accuser … he says the lack of DNA evidence should be enough to dismiss her sexual battery lawsuit — and further, he claims the woman is just making a money grab.

Add to that the police were skeptical of her story and declined to pursue criminal charges against Young, it appears that the goal was simply a financial one.
