The Clippers are serious about changing their status from tier two team to taking over the number one spot. The Clippers have signed ex-Nugget Kenyon Martin to a mini-midlevel deal for $2.5 million. The move shores up the Clippers big man rotation which as of now consists of Reggie Evans (great “enforcer type player, gets you rebounds but not a scorer) and Brian Cook (yeahhhhhhhhh, I got nothing).

Add Kenyon Martin to the list of athletes that Twitter proved to be too much for. Kenyon went off on a tirade where he told his Twitter followers that he hoped “all the haters in the world got full blown AIDS and died”

This past weekend in L.A. Jamie Foxx held his 3rd annual Summer Slam charity event. The day started at noon with a 3 on 3 tournament as well as a live auction. Several of your favorite NBA stars were on hand to participate as well as donate money. There were two 3 on 3 tournaments, one featuring celebrities vs. celebrities and one featuring NBA players vs NBA players with each NBA team also having a celebrity coach. The event was sponsored by Under Armour
Proceeds from the event raised nearly 1/2 million dollars for the Jamie Foxx Foundation and the Pacific Lodge Youth Services.
Ready for the list of Jocks who played in the “NBA” special 5 on 5 game (too many NBA stars showed up so they expanded the teams)?

After spending the last 7 years with the Denver Nuggets, Kenyon Martin becomes the 54th NBA player- and the fifth Nuggets player- to sign with a team overseas.
Martin, who is an NBA free agent, has signed with the Xinjiang Flying Tigers in China. And no, there is no NBA out-clause. The league ends February 16th. Martin’s Martin’s one-year deal will pay him $2.65 million said to be the largest contract in CBA history.
I wonder if these guys are bringing “company” with them. WHAT???? That’s a long time to be in another country ALONE when you’re used to the NBA life.

Just last week we saw pictures of the Nuggets Kenyon Martin hanging out on set with his Ex-girlfriend Trina for her “Look back at it” video shoot. Wait, I’m sorry, I need a moment, that whole statement is funny to me.
Anyway, after the holiday weekend, Kenyon- fresh from Vegas- took to Twitter with a response to the speculation that he and “The Baddest Chick” are seeing each other again.

Trina recently shot her new video in Miami, “Hit it right” and her ex-Boo, Nuggets forward Kenyon Martin was on set for a visit. I guess this is a sign that the two are heating back up. After all, the man got her lips tatted on his neck, that’s some serious love right there!
Maybe now Trina can get that Basketball Wives cameo she was working on.
