2 Pro Athlete’s Dads Were Arrested For Attempted Murder, Weed and Syrup

Two father’s of professional athletes were arrested recently. First up, Lakers first round draft pick D’Angelo Russell’s father was arrested in Kentucky according to a WHAS-TV report.

40-year-old Antonio Russell was arrested a few days ago after being pulled over for not wearing a seatbelt. Police say they discovered a water bottle filled with red liquid which was later determined to be codeine, and also say that Russell admitted to having marijuana in the vehicle.

Meanwhile, Houston Texans Jadeveon Clowney’s father David “Chilli Bean” Morgan was arrested on attempted murder charges for an incident at a strip club.

The father of NFL player Jadeveon Clowney is in jail on attempted murder charges after allegedly firing shots outside a Rock Hill bar this morning, according to police reports.

David Morgan, nicknamed “Chilli Bean,” who spent several years in prison while his son was a teen football star in Rock Hill, allegedly fired several shots at an employee of the Crazy Horse club after Morgan had been removed from sitting on the stage, the Rock Hill Police Department report states.

The victim told police he saw Morgan standing by a wall near the back of the property around 2:15 a.m. Tuesday and then Morgan fired several shots at him, according to the report.

The employee told police he returned fire after Morgan shot at him.

Police found Morgan at Piedmont Medical Center with a gunshot wound in the shoulder, the report states.
