It’s wedding season in the sports world. On Saturday, Washington Redskin QB RG3 married his college sweetheart. On Sunday, New Orleans Pelicans guard Jrue Holiday married US Women’s National Soccer forward Lauren Cheney. The two first met in 2008 while both were attending UCLA. The wedding took place in Malibu, Ca. Several of Jrue’s former Sixers teammates were on hand; Andre Iguodala, Jason Richardson and his wife Jackie, Evan Turner, Spencer Hawes, and Royal Ivey are just a few of the jocks in the building. Evan and Andre’s limo caught on fire, they almost missed the nuptials.
All the groomsmen wore Adidas.
And, of course, there’s the reception where the bride, groom, and their guests “turn up.”
