Despite having the best record in the Eastern Conference, the Miami Heat have been getting pounded on the boards all season.  Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports is reporting that sources close to the situation have said that Chris “Birdman” Anderson was brought in for a physical and workout over the next couple days in Miami.  Andersen has played ten seasons in the NBA, with his  best years coming as a key reserve for the Denver Nuggets.

This could be a good pick up for Miami, as it gives them more size off the bench.  Andersen can also provide energy and rebounding, two things the current champs could use some more of.
