Detroit Tigers locker room celebration of sweep over Yankees [photos]

The Detroit Tigers swept the Yankees and are headed to the World Series. Check out exclusive photos of their Champagne shower locker room celebration.

Prince Fielder’s wife Chanel didn’t escape the spray of the champagne:

 

The Tigers haven’t won the World Series since 1984. This is their 11th American League pennant and first since 2006. The Tigers have five days off before the World Series begins Wednesday. In the meantime, we await the outcome between the defending champion St. Louis Cardinals and the 2010 winners, the San Francisco Giants to see who the Tigers will battle.
