Saturday night in Las Vegas, Floyd Mayweather jr. added win number 43 to his undefeated record. Going up against Miguel Cotto, this fight was everything! Cotto took “Money” Mayweather the distance even drawing blood – Floyd’s nose was bleeding for the later half of the fight.

Detroit Tigers left fielder Delmon Young was arrested on a hate crime charge in New York Friday morning, after he allegedly attacked a group of men and yelled anti-Semitic remarks.

Magic Johnson and his ownership group (Guggenheim Baseball management group) have purchased the Los Angeles Dodgers for $2.15 billion. The largest price paid for a professional sports franchise in history. Also apart of the ownership group, Peter Guber-who is also one of the owners of the Golden State Warriors, Stan Kasten (former President of the Washington Nationals), Bobby Patton and Todd Boehly. Mark Walter of Guggenheim Partners is the controlling partner.

The last few years have been rough for Tiger woods personally and professionally. On Sunday, the 36-year old Woods finished 13-under-par to win his first PGA tour victory in two and half years. Tiger took the tops spot in the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Club Hill in Orlando, FL.

Spring training is underway, the Dodgers have their first preseason game on Monday and my boo in my head, Matt Kemp is ready to deliver another MVP season (he should’ve won that last season, not just because of the Ryan Braun scandal (yes I know it was a mistake, I don’t care) but because his performance was worthy.

Rapper Drake is from Canada. He’s a superstar, so it makes sense that the NHL would tap him to perform during their All-Star game… I guess. Honestly, I wouldn’t have imagined that there were a number of hip-hop loving hockey fans. Apparently I was off the mark with that line of thinking.

Floyd Mayweather, Jr. vs. Manny Pacquiao. Whose isn’t hoping that fight becomes a reality. Apparently Floyd is just as frustrated about the lack of movement on it as we are. Since his 90-day jail vacation has been pushed back to begin in June, Mayweather decided that Twitter was the perfect place to let Pac and fans know that he’s not ducking this fight.
