Uh oh Pamela Smith, if you weren’t telling the truth about your claim that Michael Jordan fathered your teenage son Taj, it’s going to cost you. Pamela recently requested the court dismiss her suit against the Charlotte bobcats owner and NBA legend but provided no explanation as to why she backed off. Everyone assumed that she either A. realized her plan wasn’t going to work. B. Got the exposure she and her son needed for his fledgling rap career and her business as an “intimacy counselor” or C. MJ paid her off.
Well, looks like you can cross C. off the list. MJ has filed legal documents per TMZ, asking that the case be kept open so he can counter sue. Jordan would like his court costs covered plus, whatever other sanctions a judge deems necessary. But here’s my question in that, does this mean he’s willing to take the paternity test to prove he’s not Taj’s father? I wonder whose bluffing in this one. I’ll tell you what I wouldn’t do, expose my child and self to the embarrassment of trying to pin paternity on a man whose child it isn’t. To me, that’s too easy to prove. Pamela even filed papers asking the court to force Jordan to take a DNA test…
This will be interesting. Oh, one more random yet related detail, Pamela’s attorney Randall Kessler is also handling another high profile case involving an athlete at the moment. He just took on Porsha Williams-Stewart as a client, the wife of former Pittsburgh Steelers star, Kordell Stewart who blindsided Porsha with divorce papers last week.
Looks like he’ll be pretty busy over the next few months.
