LA Clippers “Dance Squad” Premiers On E!

Tuesday night a new reality series is ready to give you a peak inside what it’s really like to be a dancer for a Los Angeles basketball team. L.A. Clippers Dance Squad is your up close look via E!.

“L.A. Clippers Dance Squad” gives fans an in-depth look at what it takes to be a member of an elite dance team in pro sports, on and off the court. From auditions and rehearsals to balancing personal challenges and professional ambitions, this docu-series shows what it really takes to make it to the floor of the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles and dance for basketball fans while representing a high-profile, global brand. Dreams will be fulfilled and relationships will be tested when “L.A. Clippers Dance Squad” takes center court.

On the first episode a new creative director named Petra Pope takes over and has high expectations for the squad. There are 20 dancers on the squad. Of course there’s already dancer friction as a veteran dancer struggles with the new routines and is worried about losing her spot to a newbie. Meanwhile a newcomer is having a hard time fitting in with her new squad.

Shout out to VH1’s “Hit the Floor.”
