Looks like college basketball analyst and former NBA player Greg Anthony, is one step closer to getting back on the air.
TMZ reports, Anthony has reached a plea deal in his prostitution case.
The 47-year-old was arrested for soliciting a prostitute from an $80 back page ad at a D.C. hotel back on January 16th. On Wednesday, court officials agreed to drop the solicitation charge if Anthony completes 32 hours of community service, and steers clear of any trouble for the next four months.
Following the arrest, Anthony issued an apology stating the solicitation incident was a “lapse of judgment.”
At least Anthony didn’t lose his job or endorsement deals like Warren Sapp, who allegedly solicited a prostitute the morning after the Super Bowl in Arizona. He was quickly fired from the NFL Network following the arrest.
