St Louis Rams Draft Pick Michael Sam Head To Reality TV

St Louis Rams rookie Michael Sam is heading to reality TV. Sam has signed on with Oprah Winfrey’s OWN Network for a docu-series that will follow his path to the NFL.

“We are honored that Michael is trusting us with his private journey in this moment that has not only made history but will shape it forever,” said Winfrey. “I am proud of the focus on authentic storytelling in our new documentary series format. The next real-life story we follow in The Untitled Michael Sam Project promises to spark valuable, important discussion on life in America today. Acceptance and illumination start here.”

“Like every player out there working to make a team right now, my focus is on playing football to the very best of my ability,” said Sam. “I am determined. And if seeing my story helps somebody else accept who they are and to go for their dreams too, that’s great. I am thankful to Oprah for her support and excited to work together.”

Get those $$ Michael Sam. But I do have a question, fifth-round- Cincinnati-Bengals selection AJ McCarron’s draft stock dropped allegedly because teams were wary of his new reality show with fianceé Katherine Webb. Can you imagine the drama, if Cleveland Browns pick, Johnny Manziel signed on to do a reality show?

Therefore, is this an indication of Michael Sam’s focus or just taking advantage of a once in a lifetime opportunity?

In other related Michael Sam news, looks like his boyfriend Vito Cammisano is “connected.”

Cammisano is the grandson of the late Mafia boss William (Willie the Rat) Cammisano — who reportedly got his name for the way he disposed of bodies — and the son of Gerlarmo (Jerry) Cammisano, 60, who followed in the family’s shady business and ended up doing prison time for running a Kansas City-based gambling ring, according to records.
