Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle has a lot of going on at the moment. On Wednesday, Randle learned he lost his starting spot to Darren McFadden and reportedly went AWOL from the team’s practice facility.
But, it’s not just a bruised ego Randle is suffering from, several reports say the NFL is planning to suspend Randle for violating the league’s personal-conduct policy.
Randle was arrested in February for unlawful possession of marijuana in Wichita, Kansas, following a call to police for domestic violence with a weapon, after an incident between Randle and the mother of his son.
The charges were dropped in April, but in a post Ray Rice/Greg Hardy NFL, the league can’t afford to ignore the incident, conviction or not.
Randle was also arrested last year when he tried to shoplift underwear and cologne from a Dallas-area department store.
