I’ve mentioned before that an NBA player once told me that he felt he played better high, and a few other players felt that way. So the fact that a few NFL players may have gotten smoked weed prior to the Super Bowl, obviously the biggest game of most players careers, isn’t shocking to me.
Former Ravens and Bears linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo revealed during a podcast for Fox Sports, that some of his teammates smoked marijuana prior to playing in one of his two Super Bowl appearances.
Ayanbadejo played for the Bears in 2006 for Super Bowl XLI and the Ravens in last season’s big game, but didn’t say which team the incident took place with.
