With the Miami Heat on the brink of elimination to the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA finals, talk of LeBron bouncing up out of Miami – or calling up Melo to come pick up DWade’s slack – have begun to dominate headlines once again.
But there’s at least one NBA player who believes we’ve seen the last of LeBron James in a Miami Heat jersey. Houston Rockets’ Chandler Parsons appeared on ESPN’s “SportsNation” Friday and said he thinks if the Heat lose the finals, that changes King James’ game plan.
“I think if they would have won the championship it would have been a different story and they would have come back to do it again but he’s got so much responsibility, he’s obviously one of the best players if not the best player, I think them losing will make him make a move and opt out and you’ll see him in a different jersey next year.”
Parsons goes on to say he can’t see LeBron teaming up with Kobe Bryant on the Lakers. He can see a return to Cleveland.
Chandler is BAE! But I don’t think King James will leave like a hired gun. But I do see big changes headed Miami’s way. It will be interesting to watch DWade’s reaction to all this as it was obviously his team pre-LeBron but, he seems to be the odd man out at this point.
