The Lakers have signed former Philadelphia 76’er and Clippers guard, Nick Young. Young signed for the veteran’s minimum, $1.18 million. His agent, Mark Bartelstein said Nick took a reduction in salary to play for the franchise that he grew up idolizing. Young is from L.A. attended Grant high school and USC. Last season with the Sixers, Young averaged 10.6 ppg and shot 35.7% on 3-pointers.
Effectively Young will replace Metta World Peace who was waived via the amnesty clause on Thursday.
