The Golden State Warriors got a bit of revenge against the Cleveland Cavaliers Monday night when they pummeled the NBA champs 126-91. LeBron James and Draymond Green had another incident that resulted in Green getting a flagrant 1 foul. As you know, Green missed Game 5 of the 2016 NBA Finals after he kicked James’ in the groin, something Green has been accused of purposely doing repeatedly. In this incident, James was running down the court on a fastbreak, Draymond tried to stop the break but sent LeBron flying to the floor where he laid down for a while.
“I think his shoulder hit me in the face,” James said. “It happened so fast, I didn’t even know who it was. But I’m all right. I’m a football player.”
Green was assessed a flagrant 1. He like many others felt James was flopping and he re-enacted LeBron flailing about.
“I fouled him to stop the break, and he went down,” Green said. “And in the aftermath, I don’t know, I told RJ to get out of my face. Got a tech.”
