THE NYPD has released video footage of the two women who allegedly snatched $750,000 worth of jewelry from the home of New York Knicks’ Derrick Williams.
Williams reportedly met the two women at a club in the meat packing district following a Knicks win last Friday night. After the club, it’s the afterparty. So Williams took the two ladies home with him.
He noticed Saturday evening that his jewels were missing.
A couple of lessons we can take from this 1. Don’t bring strangers home from the club. If that’s too much to ask, consider a hotel. 2. If you insist on bringing strangers home, invest in a safe for your valuables.
Professional athletes being “set up and shook down” is a topic I cover in my book, PostGame Pass: access into “the life” available on Amazon. Hurry there’s a Christmas countdown sale happening for the next couple of days!
