#ThrowbackThursday: Former NFL running back Thomas Jones [Video]

It’s #ThrowbackThursday, so let’s check out what some of your favorite jocks are up to now.

This week we’re featuring former NFL running back Thomas Jones. Jones was drafted in 2000, and spent 12 seasons in the NFL with the Arizona Cardinals, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Chicago Bears, New York Jets and Kansas City Chiefs.  In 2008, he was the NFL’s rushing leader. He also used to date actress Megan Good for four years, before the couple split in 2010.

Jones was recently featured on the hit BET show, Being Mary Jane, which stars actress Gabrielle Union, as her “cutty buddy”

Currently the budding actor is working on a  documentary series about the issues NFL players face off the field. In a January 2015 interview with Sports Illustrated, Jones revealed that he plans to donate his brain for CTE and concussion research when he passes away, as he believes he’s experiencing some of the effects in retirement.
