RG3 Explains Why His Marriage Ended

Cleveland Browns QB Robert Griffin III found new love in the DM’s. However his estranged wife, Rebecca Liddicoat, says she was caught off guard when RG3 filed for divorce.

Details of RG3’s petition have been released and per his version of events, Rebecca should have seen this coming.

 Griffin began dating Florida State track star, Grete Šadeiko earlier this year after meeting on Instagram. The new relationship kicked off roughly seven months after his wife gave birth to their daughter. Griffin and Liddicoat separated in April shortly after she discovered the relationship. Rebecca was reportedly holding out hope for a reconciliation

Griffin and his new girlfriend have been receiving a lot of heat on social media, with “fans” calling him a cheater and her a homewrecker. Griffin took to his Instagram account to defend his new boo and clarify that his marriage was already over prior to their relationship.

In the petition, Griffin stated the reason for the divorce:

“The marriage has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities between petitioner and respondent that destroys the legitimate ends of the marriage relationship and prevents any reasonable expectation of reconciliation.”

Liddicoat is currently living  50 miles away from their $2.2 million former family home. In the petition, the 26-year-old Griffin requested that both be appointed as “joint managing conservators” of their daughter, with Rebecca having primary custody.

Griffin expects to pay child support but did not include a suggested amount. There is a prenup in place.
