I am a sports fan because of my paternal grandmother, but I became a Bears fan in the eighties and by the time they won the Super Bowl in ’85, I was faithful and hooked.
I remember writing cornerback Mike Richardson a letter when they won because the newspaper printed a feature on him and listed an address where we could send him some mail.
The Bears will finish the season 10 – 6. The chemistry between Jay Cutler and Brandon Marshal is the stuff winners are made of.
Our deficit has often been on defense for the past couple of years. But, the come back they made against San Francisco gives me a boost of confidence and a reminder to never give up.
