Are you a “rules are the rules” type person? The Narbonne high school girls team has been disqualified from the L.A. City Section Open Division finals. The team wore alternate uniforms with pink lettering to support cancer awareness which was declared illegal.
The team’s head coach Victoria Sanders wasn’t aware that she needed a waiver for the girls to wear the uniforms. This was the second time in the playoffs that the team had worn the uniforms.
The team was following the example set on the professional level of using the uniform as a form of support. Do you think this is reason enough to ban them from the finals?
