Everything You Need To Know About This Weekend’s Sports Cornucopia

This weekend promises to be the biggest sports weekend of the year. The NFL Draft kicked it off on Thursday, but Saturday is when things really get crazy.

First up, the Kentucky Derby:

The Derby is an annual horse race that happens the first Saturday in May. With lots of your favorite athletes and celebrities in attendance.  This year’s favorite is American Pharoah, but there are 20 horses total participating so an upset could happen.

NBC will begin coverage at 4:00 PM EST/ 1:00 PM PST. The actual race is at 6:24 PM EST/ 3:24 PST. You definitely want to check out the pre-show so you can catch all the fashion.

Obviously the big dog of the evening will be the fight of the century – or the legacy fight – bettwen Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao. We’ve been waiting for this match up for five years. PPV is your hook up here. The under card fights begin at 9:00 PM EST/6:00 PM PST. There are six matches, with the main event taking place around 11:00 PM EST/ 8:00 PM PST

NBA playoffs – The series between my Clippers and the Spurs has been the best of the entire playoffs. Realistically, this should’ve been the Western Conference finals. Game 7 is for all of the marbles. It goes down at 8:00 PM EST/ 5:00 PM PST on TNT

Here’s a look at what else is happening in sports on Saturday, all times listed are EST.
