Kurt Rambis has been twisting in the wind waiting to find out his fate with the Minnesota Timberwolves for quite awhile. Per Yahoo, Timberwolves general manager David Kahn plans on firing Rambis but won’t officially announce those plans until after the NBA draft.
The franchise is currently in “rebuilding-mode” and Rambis was in year two of a four-year deal. The past two seasons, the team’s record was 32-132. They finished in last place this season.
Kahn felt that Rambis didn’t communicate well with players or management. He even went as far as requesting a written report with an outline of changes Rambis would make should he had returned as coach of the team.
