The NHL Files A Brief With The Eighth Circuit In Support Of The NFL Lockout

I guess owners support other owners. The NHL (National Hockey League) has decided to insert itself into the fray between the NFL and it’s decertified players union.

The NHL has filed a brief with the Eighth Circuit court in support of the NFL lockout.

The NHL believes if the courts keep ruling against the NFL it not only will destroy the business model that allowed it to thrive in recent decades, but destroy the other major sports as well.

WOW, who said they have a say? Granted the NHL lost a season to labor issues awhile back but is their model that similar to the NFL’s that they feel it’s a necessary to intervene? Has this happened before? This situation continues to get more interesting.
