Pat Riley’s deposition in Dwyane Wade’s divorce trial pushed until after NBA finals

Seems like divorce is a side story for stars on both teams in the NBA finals. Tim Duncan’s lawyer hit up the court for an extension until after the finals. Now Heat star Dwyane Wade’s lawyers have done the same for Pat Riley. Dwyane Wade’s ex-wife, Siohvaughn Funches had her lawyer subpoena the Heat GM. Wade’s lawyer has gotten Riley’s deposition pushed until after the NBA finals.

A judge in Chicago scheduled to preside over a July trial expected to determine how much of their marital fortune D Wade will be ordered to pay ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches asked this week that Riley’s deposition be postponed until after the next champion is declared.

Riley is to be grilled under oath about Wade’s salary and incentives as a Heat player.

Score one for Team Wade I suppose.
