CASH OUT! The NBA is expected to announce its new TV deal with ESPN and Turner Sports that is worth $24 billion. That’s three times the current deal in place. The NBA will be receiving approximately $2.7 billion per season.
The new nine-year deal also calls for TNT to produce an NBA award show – I wonder if this will be similar to the NFL Honors show that takes place during SuperBowl. Check out more deets:
With all that money on the line, I fully expect that the players will want some revisions in the CBA which can be re-examined in 2017.
