NBA Commissioner David Stern appeared on ESPN’s SportsCenter yesterday to spin the owners side again. The offer Stern was discussing is one which will have the a 72 game season that will begin on December 15th.
The Union is taking the weekend to decide on decertification as the rumblings are that this offer is still not acceptable. Stern is also hinting that if the union decides to decertify, replacement players could be on the table. Pretty sure that’s just a negotiating tactic at this point.
More waiting on our end. I still feel like the owners are being ridiculous at this point. Le sigh
