Jordan joins other sports franchise owners including, Los Angeles Clippers owner Steve Ballmer and Seattle Seahawks and Portland Trail Blazers owner Paul Allen.
Jordan’s estimated net worth of $1 billion earns him the position of the 1,741st richest person in the world. His portfolio includes; $100 million a year off royalties from the Jordan brand and the Hornets with a Forbes estimated worth of $700 million.
