Jay Z’s sports agency “Roc Nation Sports” continues to fill out their roster. Next up for the agency’s target list? Newly minted Jets QB Geno Smith. Smith dumped his previous agent a few days following the NFL draft. Smith had expectations of being selected in the first round but instead fell to the 38th spot in the second round.
Smith isn’t expected to make a decision until after the weekend. He’s having his first real taste of the NFL this weekend participating in the Jets rookie mini camp. I know whoever he selects to represent him, the first thing they should do is sign him up for some media training. He could benefit from that, especially being in a market like New York that thrives on drama and will tear you to tiny bits when done.
