Brooklyn Nets head coach Jason Kidd apparently didn’t enjoy getting assistance and help from his former Nets coach, Lawerence Frank. Frank was brought in following JKidd’s hire with the Nets last summer, to help the rookie head coach learn the ropes. But something hasn’t worked out and Kidd has kicked Frank off the bench and also won’t have him practice anymore due to “different philosophies.”
Kidd didn’t want to go into detail Tuesday, stating:
“This is the decision that I had to make and we made it and we move on,”
I hope Kidd’s “philosophy” involves winning minus the antics. The Nets dropped another in Denver Tuesday night, 111-87. The Nets are currently 5-13 on the season, at the bottom of the Eastern Conference, just ahead of the Milwaukee Bucks and the Knicks.
Rough time to be a New York sports fan.
