As if dealing with Andrew Bynum last season wasn’t enough heartache for Philly fans. The Houston Rockets have traded big man Royce White to the the 76’ers in exchange for future draft picks. The move cleared an additional $1.7 million in salary for the Rockets to add for their Dwight Howard signing. Houston selected White in the 2012 draft with the 16th pick. White never played a game for the Rockets in his rookie season due to conflict over the team as to the best approach in handling his anxiety disorder.
Good thing Philly is close enough for him to take a train or bus to New York for the Knicks and Nets, Chicago, Detroit and Boston aren’t that far either. Perhaps we’ll actually see him on the court this year.
