It’s pretty clear that no matter the means, the Los Angeles Clippers will be for sale in the near future. The Clippers are primed and ready to go money-maker. All-Star talent with Chris Paul and Blake Griffin, a superstar GM/Coach in Doc Rivers, and a prime spot in a major media market. With so many wins, of course the list of potential suitors has continued to grow.
And now, add another former athlete’s name to the mix, Grant Hill. The retired former NBA All-Star Grant Hill has partnered with billionaire investors and longtime Southern California residents Tony Ressler and Bruce Karsh to form an ownership group to bid per ESPN.
Hill spent the 2012-2013 on the Clippers and is currently an analyst on NBA TV.
The expected selling price for the Clippers is somewhere around $1.5 billion.
