Donald Sterling’s Estrange Wife Shelly Says She’s Not At Racist

Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling’s estranged wife Rochelle “Shelly” Sterling has come out against her husband following the release of audio over the weekend where he asked his girlfriend not to bring black people to his games. Shelly wore all black to Sunday’s Clippers vs. Warriors match up in support of the team and said she and her children aren’t racist.

“Our family is devastated by the racist comments made by my estranged husband.  My children and I do not share these despicable views or prejudices.”
Shelly goes on … “We will not let one man’s small-mindedness poison the spirit of the fans and accomplishments of the team in the city we love.”
And Shelly says, “We are doing everything in our power to stand by and support our Clippers team.”

The two have been estranged for awhile, and per TMZ, Shelly has hired top divorce attorney Laura Wasser. Some are speculating that Shelly will try to gain control over the Clippers in the wake of this firestorm. The couple married in 1957.
