Judge Michael Levanas gave Shelly Sterling a victory on Monday, ruling in her favor on three counts in the probate trial initiated by her estranged husband, Donald Sterling.
Judge Levanas ruling cleared the way for the sale of the Clippers to Steve Ballmer for $2 Billion.
“Ballmer paid an amazing price that cannot be explained by the market,” Levanas said.
Which means Doc Rivers and Chris Paul will never have to prove that they were serious about sitting out the season as long as Sterling was still the owner of the team.
