Clippers Head coach and team president Doc Rivers will be with the franchise for the next five years.
Newly minted Clippers owner Steve Ballmer wasted no time in establishing the vibe of the team for the future. Doc Rivers signed an extension on Wednesday that will run through the 2018-2019 season and pay Rivers $50 million.
I’m sure this will also help the recruiting situation in the future knowing that Doc, Blake and CP3 are locked in for the long run. The jury is still out on whether the Clippers will be able to turn LA into a Lakers city. At least the rivalry finally has some teeth.
